Music Lovers and Audiophiles as a Link between Generations

Abstract

Cultural codes are associated with the versatility of cultural expression in its broadest sense. This versatility also generates numerous mechanisms for their transmission to new generations, which directly affects the sustainability of any society. The same fully applies to Russian civilization in general, and to Russia in particular. The connection of generations, among other things, is carried out in the leisure space, and more specifically through hobbies. These include music mania and audiophilia. The report examines the essence of these hobbies. Their role in the generational connection is shown. The article substantiates the need to develop and encourage these hobbies not only in private life, but also through the involvement of younger generations in both formal and informal societies, as well as in technical creativity.
