Musical Theatre in the Context of Phenomenological Aesthetics (Based on the Practice of the Universum Youth Theatre of the VLSU Higher School of Music and Theatre)
Abstract
The author of this article examines musical and theatrical works of art as a living substance, the perception of which is not limited to understanding alone. The process of perceiving a work should lead the recipient to the emergence of a personal relationship with it, to the development of a personal aesthetic culture. Musical and theatrical arts help develop a culture of personal artistic and aesthetic thinking, creative and intellectual intuition, and a timely response to the specifics of the contemporary cultural landscape at all stages of education.
