“Final Struggle” of Opposites. The Collision Between Consciousness and Digital Reality

Abstract

The author examines the process of global digitalization and the genesis of a new life-world using dialectical approach. The objects of interaction are consciousness (the main characteristic of a human being) and digital reality (a complex system of uncertain nature). The socio-philosophical aspect of the problem of collision between consciousness and digital reality is based on the fact that complex objects, such as man, consciousness, society, are transferring into a new environment that has different parameters and other properties of space and time, a different perception of life. The author uses dialectical approach to analyze the new challenges for humanitarian knowledge. The new life-world exists in conditions where it is difficult for the mind to notice the differences and it is forced to deal only with the rearrangement of pieces of postmodern reality.
