NEWSPAPERS IN THE ARABIC SCRIPT OF THE EARLY SOVIET PERIOD, THE AVAR LANGUAGE 1917-1930.

Abstract


The article deals with the question of the origin and formation of periodicals in the languages of the peoples of Dagestan, which became possible because of socio-economic and political development of society. At the beginning of the XX century in Dagestan the first prerequisites for the appearance of printed materials in the languages of the peoples of Dagestan were born, the first lithographs and printing houses were organized. Drastic changes in public life in the early twentieth century is not pushed the position of the Arabic script in the environment of the Dagestani intellectuals. Because of the Arab graphics Dagestan literary works continued to be created, the local press was issued.
