Neuromusic and aesthetics of attention

N. A. Romanov

Abstract

The article analyzes the peculiarities of the influence on modern man and culture of music, which is generated by artificial intelligence. The emergence and development of neuromusic is a modern form of popular music production, and not always noticeable, gradual and unhindered spread of this phenomenon occurs both due to modern computer technologies, which increasingly regulate various aspects of the daily life of users of digital devices, and because of the orientation of media culture primarily on visual images. It is noted that delegating the generation of musical compositions to artificial intelligence can have an impact on the formation of aesthetic auditory parameters of everyday life of the present and the near future. The change of the traditional subject of creativity to artificial intelligence contributes to the standardization and simplification of aesthetic perception, which, with the practical application of neuromusic as the background of everyday life, can be completely leveled. The hypothesis is put forward that attention, as an inherent human ability, can be an aesthetic characteristic that allows us to distinguish cultural phenomena, and thereby make the “human factor” competitive in relation to artificial intelligence, which is increasingly used in the creation of audiovisual media products.
