The life and work of K.V. Nabokov: the problem of classification and interpretation of sources

Abstract

In article the question of the sources lighting life and Kirill Vladimirovich Nabokov's creativity is investigated. Undoubtedly works of biographers and literary critics represent a valuable source, first of all, according to the biography of the poet, a research of influence of world history on events of its personal career, however estimates of his poetic talent are poorly reflected in them. Classification and a rubrication of the memoirs, diaries, poetic collections and other sources of information in a varying degree containing the information about the younger brother of V.V. Nabokov is given in this work. The attempt of interpretation of influence of events of national history of the first third of the XX century on some motives and art features of lyrics of K.V. Nabokov is made. These estimates show how significant can be Nabokov Jr. creativity in the context of researches on microhistory and the Russian culture of the first half of the XX century.
