Quality scale-out or Cultural split in the digital world
Abstract
The article discusses the problem of preserving and transmitting the basic traditions and values of culture in the modern digital world. It emphasizes that the traditional mechanisms that have been successfully functioning for a long time have ceased to perform their functions. The unpredictability of reality has become a trend, and the familiar concepts of the world and the place of humans in it are disappearing, which requires radical changes in the traditional mechanisms for preserving and transmitting cultural values, traditions, and norms. The changing world requires a re-coding of all the traditional mechanisms for transmitting and preserving national culture. This not only creates new socio-psychological phobias, but also leads to a desire to counteract innovation. The desire to revive the past and return to a stable and familiar world is growing at various social levels. Discussions about cultural codes have become a popular topic. Politicians, lawyers, philosophers, philologists, cultural experts, and others are writing and talking about their preservation and transmission. Projects with the same name are being implemented, and there is an official journal. All of this demonstrates that we are in a situation where different government levels are trying to "patch up" the cultural field without realizing that a change in perspective is necessary. The desire to actively oppose innovation is leading to chaos and division in the cultural landscape. The author highlights the most significant "gaps" in the cultural space, demonstrating the impossibility of preserving and transmitting traditions, norms, and rules using traditional methods. The changing world requires the re-coding of all familiar mechanisms for transmitting and preserving national culture.
In addition, the author emphasizes that fundamental changes in the optics of cultural researchers are necessary. The planetary model formed during the New European period should be replaced by a network model, which will allow us to identify the "key" phenomena in modern culture and build intergenerational communication that is adequate to the challenges of the time.
