Abstract


The main topic of the article is the transformation of Christian imagery in the secular art of the twentieth century. The reason for the conversation is the film by Polish director Krzysztof Kieslowski’s «The Decalogue» and its central image — sin and the Ten Commandments. The question of article is how stable are specific is of the image in European, in particular — the Polish, culture of the end of the last century.
