Abstract


The article discuses the main ideas of the most famous researcher of the Birmingham Centre of Contemporary Cultural Studies — Stuart Hall, — and their developing in the works of his adherents and colleagues. The author introduces the most significant theories of British researcher, who is not well-known in Russia.
