«THE WORLD OF BEAUTIFUL SPIRIT»: AESTHETICS IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF I. G. FICHTE’S TRANSCENDENTALISM

Abstract

The paper deals with the problematic of aesthetics in the Wissenschaftlehre by I.G. Fichte. Traditionally Fichte’s philosophy is considered to be devoid of aesthetics. In contrast, the researcher explicating disjointed aesthetic papers by Fichte attempts to demonstrate the importance of the aesthetic problematic in fichteanism. That’s why Fichte’s Wissenschaftlehre appears to be aesthetically affected. So, Fichte maintains that genius is indispensable feature of philosophical speculation. The versions of Wissenschaftlehre considered in the research show that Fichte in his Jena period took so great interest in aesthetical problematic that he worked hardly on the constituting and determining aesthetics as necessary subdivision of the system of the whole philosophy. This new interpretation build upon new texts for Russian reader strongly changes the image of German classical idealism in the sphere of post-soviet thinking.
