The structural components of the intercultural space

Abstract


The article provides an analysis of the intercultural space which appeared as a result of the intensification of the intercourse between different cultures. It is argued that the intercultural space is an autonomous subject of communication that develops according to its own laws which cannot be reduced to the crosslinking principles of the concrete cultures. The author concludes that it is philosophy that plays a very important role in the intercultural space as it enables the national specificity of every culture to be actualized as a substantial element of the objective knowledge.
