FOLK TALE AND CONTEMPORARY PUPPET THEATER

А. Ф. Некрылова

Abstract

The author on the example of modern production of fairy tales staged in domestic puppet theatres puts a fundamental question about the possibilities of «cultural translation» of works of art from one type to another. In this case, we are talking about the pros and cons of transferring the folk tales to the stage. The main purpose of the article is to recall sense and structure-forming constants inherent to oral folk tales, as well as the need to voice the problem of finding the optimal variant, in which (ideally) they will save the face of genuine fairy tale and take into account all the specifics of the scene laws
