ACTUAL ART AS A REFLECTION OF «NEW CORPORALITY»
Abstract
This article deals with the transformation of the modern human’s consciousness and the reflection of this process in the contemporary art. The 21st century discovers a «new» corporality, we begin to understand that consciousness of a human hinges on his body. The body begins to acquire a whole new meaning for people, becoming a tool for the development of personal identity. The authors study the contemporary art as a way of comprehending this corporality using the example of the body image of sculptures by Antony Gormley.
