Vorontsovastucult@yandex.ruThe article is dedicated to the process of meaning-making in contemporary dance performance as an art form. The author examines the role of the body and movements in conveying emotions, ideas, and messages, as well as the interaction between choreographers, performers, and audiences. Special attention is given to the internal bodily sensations and experiences of the performer, which manifest through a unique plastic language. The significance of contextual aspects such as cultural, historical, and social factors in shaping meaning in dance performance is also noted. The article emphasizes that dance performance is not only a form of artistic expression but also a means of communication capable of transmitting diverse emotions and ideas. It analyzes the plastic language, including movement techniques, symbolic gestures, and compositional methods. The interaction with space and objects is explored, contributing to the expansion of emotional and visual meanings. The article underscores the importance of audience interpretation and emotional response, which play a significant role in the creation and perception of meaning in dance performance. The author highlights that dance performance serves as a platform for investigating and experimenting with various semantic structures and their impact on spectators, ultimately revealing the depth and diversity of the human experience through the language of the body and movements.2023-12-26T10:06:11+03:00Copyright (c) 2023 A. G. Kovalenkoak-taurus@mail.ruL. N. Lumpovalumpova.lida@yandex.ruThe article analyzes the monologue and dialogic discourse in their interaction in the works of L.N. Tolstoy. The epic novel “War and Peace” and the novel “Anna Karenina” are chosen as the object of research. The subject of the research will be the Tolstoy’s artistic. According to the authors of the study, these Tolstoy’s works reflect the organic synthesis of the two above-mentioned typological varieties of the text. The study also reveals the nature of the differences in the phenomenon of polyphony in the works under consideration, in a theoretical aspect, the patterns associated with the peculiarity of the semantic structures of the image of the author and the main images of the characters are considered. The authors of the article connect the monologue discourse with the monologue (monophonic) image of the author in the epic novel “War and Peace”, the dialogic discourse, identified with the phenomenon of polyphony, with the images of the main characters of the epic novel “War and Peace” and the novel “Anna Karenina”. The study also raises the question of the ideological and philosophical prerequisites that influenced the formation of the Tolstoy’s artistic system.2023-12-26T10:06:11+03:00Copyright (c) 2023 A. G. P. Makarovanp99np99@mail.ruModern digital mass media actively perceive the concept of “care of the self” and work with its particular plan, the practices of constructing an “ideal” subject in its unified and standardized model. The article presents an analysis of the manipulative technology tools on the example of a serial, mass distribution apparatus for actual digital media. The interpretation of the dual mechanism is carried out by attracting the content of the works of the German philosopher T. Adorno and the Dutch linguist, theorist of discourse analysis T. Van Dijk. It is noted that the appeal to the universal personality in everyone, which can be considered as an object of practice, the legitimization of the content of the articles is affirmed by an act of dedication to the circle of the “chosen ones” through the use of the categories “we”, “all of us”; by the method of generalization, universalization to a group, construction of a community (“man as a species”). The language of the articles, through the trusting effect of familiar expressions, vaguely known authoritative statements, appeals to the integral personality inside of each reader. As a result, “care of the self” becomes in a transformed form a profitable object for broadcasting, as well as the property of everyone, a mass audience, through digital media. Modern practices of “care of the self” incorporate the desire for the state of “non-self” and offer the dissolution of the “I” in algorithms, mass average settings for ascent from the sphere of direct experience to the space of third-party observation of one’s own internal manifestations.2023-12-26T10:06:11+03:00Copyright (c) 2023 N. Makhlinas_makhlina@mail.ruIn the modern world, digitalization has covered all spheres of human life. Digitalization is also being actively introduced into art culture. New technologies related to digitalization stimulate new opportunities in art, often forming creative discoveries in an unexpected way and defining its perception in a completely new way. The pandemic of 2020-2021, associated with the coronavirus epidemic, has largely shown that digitalization has helped to actualize musical creativity. The audience could not directly attend the performances of the musicians. Instead, there were performances by artists from their homes, which provoked a new format of reuniting people, opened up new ways in the formation of a sound continuum and made it possible to perceive musical works. Thanks to this, new technologies have appeared in the transmission of musical performance, pushing traditional forms of the technical soundscape to new ideals and requirements.2023-12-26T10:06:11+03:00Copyright (c) 2023 S. Razuvaevnrasuvaev@yandex.ruThe article deals with the problems of constructing cultural meanings in the course of symbolic communication of individuals in the context of the crisis of rationality, which is the main characteristic of the spiritual climate of the modern era. According to the author, the formation of the post-classical type of rationality makes the task of researching the processes of cultural communication and their meaning-generating function especially urgent. As shown in the paper, cultural values form the foundation of the meaning structure of reality, and culture as a set of means and processes of sign communication has as its most important goal the constitution of the meaning (first of all, value) dimension of human existence.2023-12-26T10:06:11+03:00Copyright (c) 2023 N. V. Razuvaevhttp://iculture.spb.ru/index.php/stucult/article/view/1552The Meanings “‘Human Education’ in the Artistic Discourse of the Novel of F. M. Dostoevsky ‘The Adolescent’2023-12-26T10:12:20+03:00I. V. Sazinaera_vl@mail.ruThe article argues that the presence of the meanings of "human education" in the artistic discourse of F. M. Dostoevsky's novel "The Adolescence", with their existential (being) and communicative nature (represented not in the form of declarations or doctrines, but in a number of storylines and the history of the hero's actual ascension: from a certain zero point of “standing in front of the world” and ideas about “ignorance” — to a dialogue with the world and society), creates a special “value center” which: a) defines the genre, logic and principle of creating the novel "The Adolescence" — as a "novel of education/moral education"; b) creates the main “event of meaning” in the novel, setting the existential (being) and communication meanings of the intent of the hero described by Dostoevsky towards his “inner logos” (to this characteristic given by V. V. Zenkovsky to all the writer’s work from a theological and anthropological position, the author of the article resorts, emphasizing in it the meaning of "logos as word" mainly in its non-religious understanding and in the intention of "dialogue"). Based on the central position in the artistic discourse of the novel "The Adolescence" of the meanings of "human education" and their action in the whole semantic space of the novel as its "value center", an appropriate conceptual resource can be outlined that can organize the theoretical part of the educational projects that are in demand today, including the creation educational digital platforms, and possibly the “human education” ecosystem based on the principles of “humanitarian thinking”. In these projects, such a “value center” can act as a kind of “task” for modern domestic educational practices in the actual work on their moral block (as well as in work on goal-setting in general).2023-12-26T10:06:12+03:00Copyright (c) 2023 I. Sazinahttp://iculture.spb.ru/index.php/stucult/article/view/1553Natural-Scientific and Philosophical Aspects of the Unity of Painting and Music: a View Through the Prism of Artificial Intelligence2023-12-26T10:11:42+03:00M. Tribot-La-Spieremariatlspiere@gmail.comThis article discusses a philosophical description of the unity of painting and music through the prism of the natural-science phenomenon of the generation of phonon oscillations by the surface of a painting surface. A method is proposed for using artificial intelligence in the automated detection of phonon oscillations, which consists in a matrix recording of dynamic two-dimensional light scattering, convolution of the matrix into topological indices, and sonification of the change in indices over time. We have developed the new method for controlling surface phonon oscillations based on diffuse reflection kinetics. The specialized software “Vidan” records the kinetics of changes with 10 topological indices, which reflects the propagation of a phonon wave on the surface during capture and inelastic scattering of secondary cosmic rays [3]. To control the state of the surface, either the fingerprint of 10 topological descriptors is used (this analysis is automated through the “Atrium” remote software), or a spectral analysis of the distribution of descriptor values in time is carried out. In art the method was used for generation the "digital" passport (including the topological descriptors) of new paintings in order to control the appearance of copies. The algorithm for converting phonon oscillations of a painting leads to the generation of a unique melody. In this case, the main part of the creative activity belongs not to the composer, but to artificial intelligence, which generates a melody based on the chemical composition of the paint material of the picture and the method of applying the painting layer (that is, the artist's "hands"). The material heritage of the painter's work continues to generate new works of art “offline”, while artificial intelligence acts only as a way of detecting and sonification of the natural vibrations of the surface of the picture. It is shown that each painting generates its own unique melody. This uniqueness made it possible to propose an original system for checking the authenticity of works of art: for new works of artists. A cloud-based automated control system "Atrium" has been implemented, which allows tracking any logistical movements of the picture and the change of owner according to the topological musical digital passport of the picture generated by its surface.2023-12-26T10:06:12+03:00Copyright (c) 2023 M. Tumanovfateisyourhands@gmail.comThis article discusses the issue of recognizing folk crafts as an art. The author refers to the views of the philosopher Michel Foucault, who considered art as a socio-political practice capable of influencing ideological and socio-cultural discourses. This provision also applies to folk crafts. The article also highlights the history of the emergence and development of folk crafts, as well as the process of their transformation from commercial activity into art. The author identifies the main aspects and problems that raise doubts about the status of folk crafts as an art. The paper deals with the issue of conservation, using the concept of "Memory of Memory" by Herman Lubbe, and analyzes the influence of mass culture on folk crafts through the prism of the concept of Jean Baudriard. The author identifies and identifies the main problem associated with folk crafts by analyzing their modern existence.2023-12-26T10:06:12+03:00Copyright (c) 2023 I. I. Tian Qinxin also continues to make pioneering attempts within the mainstream of Chinese theater, constantly challenging new forms of expression. In this process, the master of German neo-expressionist dance, an iconic figure in the history of modern dance in the world — Pina Bausch's concept of dance theater has had a profound influence on Tian Qinxin's directorial language. This influence is not only individual, but also a concrete manifestation of the fusion of the spirit of traditional Oriental aesthetics with modern Western theater aesthetics, the fusion of nationalism and modernity.2023-12-26T10:06:13+03:00Copyright (c) 2023 Jiawen Xuhttp://iculture.spb.ru/index.php/stucult/article/view/1563Modern Drama: the Search for Ontological Issues2024-02-06T14:06:31+03:00E. A. Shutovashu-ti@mail.ruModern Russian drama explores the relationship between man and the universal, raising eternal ontological questions. The article considers the possibilities of studying ontological issues on the example of festival plays of the early 21st century. The analysis of existing research has been carried out, and important aspects describing ontological problems in modern drama have been identified. The corpus of plays by modern playwrights is analyzed, the main directions of research on ontological issues in their work are described. Among them are the ideological content of the play, its chronotope, as well as the question of the dialectic of tradition and novelty in artistic creativity. The ideological content is considered in the following aspect: modern plays demonstrate a variety of ideas about the universal. The mysteries of the universe, the other person, the past and the future – these issues traditionally concern playwrights. The variety of spiritual principles that structure people's lives allows the viewer to make sense of what he saw. Chronotope of the play: the characteristic of the new drama is the fragmentation of artistic space and time, the play is built from a variety of scenes, the action of which takes place at different times in different places, their unification is carried out according to the principle of editing episodes. There is a unification of conditional reality and the space of imagination, as well as virtual space. There is a tendency to avoid events, the "combination of facts", the "composition of incidents" focuses the meaning of the drama as a whole. The flow of life as the organization of the space-time of a modern play is an attempt to create an imitation of the reality of events. A conversation with the audience, a sudden distraction from what is happening on stage, collage and montage mobilize the artistic image, mix the grassroots and the sublime. The problem of the author's relationship with the future and the past is considered through the dialectic of tradition and novelty. Dramaturgy using a document reflects a certain reality in history. The past is Different, its identity needs to be respected, modern drama protests against narrative and advocates documenting reality instead of turning history into a myth. The conclusion is made about the importance of studying drama at each new stage of its development.Copyright (c) 2024 E. A. Shutova
