The scientific peer-reviewed journal Studia Culturae publishes research articles, reviews, short reports, and reviews on topical issues of the theory and history of culture, philosophy of culture, aesthetics, and philosophy of art.

The main goal of the journal is to popularize the achievements of scientific thought in the field of cultural studies, philosophy of culture, aesthetics, as well as interdisciplinary humanitarian research carried out by Russian and worlwide scientists; as well as to promote the research of talented young scientists in the humanities.

The most important tasks of the journal are:

  • development of communication links between Russian and foreign specialists in the field of humanities and interdisciplinary research;
  • integration of Russian humanities into the international scientific community;
  • expanding and intensifying the interaction between theoretical and applied science;
  • development of a multidisciplinary approach to the study of socio-cultural phenomena;
  • popularization of the achievements of modern humanitarian thought for a wide range of interested readers;
  • informing readers about significant events in scientific life.
